講 義 内 容

講 義 概 要

In order to develop elementary school children to think independently, solve problems on their own, and express themselves in English, we will learn how to provide developmental guidance throughout the semester. In addition, by creating activities that help students learn methods to use their independent, active learning, students will develop practical skills to incorporate appropriate independent, active learning.

到 達 目 標

The goal of this course is to develop the following abilities regarding foreign language (English) education in kindergartens and elementary schools, based on what was learned in Children's English B.
To be able to understand the basic theory of early English education.
To be able to know how to teach based on the theory of early English education and to acquire the ability to put it into practice.

1:Orientation (understanding the need to make children speak more English)
2:Understanding and Experiencing Strategies for teaching English
3:Experiences with teaching materials and instructional methods to improve listening skills
4:Teaching materials and teaching methods to improve speaking skills
5:Teaching materials and instructional methods to improve reading skills
6:Teaching materials and instructional methods to improve writing skills
7:Understanding and experience of proactive, interactive and deep learning (active learning) methods
8:Understanding the nature of classes to improve thinking, judgment, and expression
9:Experiences and reflections on classes to improve thinking, judgment, and expression
10:Effective teaching materials and tools
11:Prepare lesson plans for classes focusing on listening and speaking
12:Prepare teaching plans for classes focusing on reading and writing
13:Presentation of mock class (1)
14:Presentation of mock class (2)
15:Understanding of the qualities and abilities required of a leader based on mock classes

Preparation of materials to help in improving children's English language skills (50%)
Content of mock class presentation (50%)

Face-to-face class:
This class aims to practice what they have learned in kindergartens through collaborative learning.
